About PollCheck

What PollCheck is

PollCheck is an independent, nonpartisan political data site covering UK elections, polling, and projections. It is not affiliated with any political party, campaign, polling company, or media organisation.

PollCheck does not conduct its own polling. Projections are built from published polling data, local election history, official candidacy data, and demographic modelling. All data sources are credited on the relevant pages.

PollCheck is not a member of the British Polling Council. BPC membership is for organisations that conduct and publish opinion polls. PollCheck aggregates and models published polling data but does not commission or conduct fieldwork.

Who runs PollCheck?

PollCheck is run by one person, PJ - a politics hobbyist who started PollCheck in August 2025 as a side project to track UK polling data. It's grown into a full political data platform covering polling trackers, seat calculators, local election projections, and devolved election models for the Senedd and Scottish Parliament.

Since creation it's had well over 100,000 visitors and is growing into a crowd sourced data project.
